USA Wrestling - New Jersey sponsors and sanctions a variety of competitive wrestling competitions and tournaments. Competitive events are offered year-round and include Scholastic/Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman forms of wrestling. The tournaments are local, state-wide, regional, national and international in nature. USAW-NJ sponsored events are listed below.

Team NJ traveled to the 2010 edition
of the Mason-Dixon Quadrangular Tournament which is held annually at
the McDonogh School in Owing Mills, MD. RESULTS ARE
NOW AVAILABLE. For the fourth year in a row, Team NJ took second
to Team PA. Tryouts for Team NJ's entry were
held in December and the tournament was held on January 10, 2010.
The tournament features youth teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland

The Spring / Summer Junior Olympic
Freestyle and Greco-Roman schedule and Road Trip Summary is now available.
Opportunities for age & weight level developmental tournaments, Team NJ
qualifiers and Championships are laid out for all ages, male and female.

2010 International Wrestling/Officiating Program (Spring 2010)
Greco-Roman and Freestyle referees and pairing officials are needed in New Jersey. Anyone interested in becoming a USAW official, please contact Mr. Patrick Pollard. He has volunteered to help build the official pool in New Jersey.
