2009 Spring / Summer Schedule & Information for Freestyle and Greco-Roman

New Jersey will take 1 Greco team and 2 Freestyle teams (“Red” and “Blue”). To win your spot on the Greco or Freestyle team, you must win your weight class at the ranking tournament and the state tournament Sunday, May 3, at Eastern HS in Voorhees, NJ. If you don’t win both tournaments, a wrestle off may be required and this would take place at the May 3 tournament. Some freestyle wrestlers on the “Blue” team may be required to wrestle Greco. Final team decisions will be made by Jim Neighbors and Bob Deutsch.

The cost for this trip is $850 including the team uniforms. If you’re going to Fargo, you can deduct the cost of the uniform. Flights are all from Newark.

You deposit of $500 must be submitted at the state tournament on May 3, along with the application (found here: http://www.usawnj.org/fs_gr_competition.htm ),a copy of your birth certificate and copy of your valid USA card.
