2009 Girls State Championships

The inaugural Girls 2009 NJ State Championships is now in the books. The State Championships was conducted on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Union High School in Union, NJ (address & directions below). Many thanks to Girls Director, Ms. Betsy Montanez, for all of her efforts in getting this event off the ground. To view or download the event flyer, see below:

The tournament was also open to out of state girls. The NJ Resident who placed highest at her weight class is eligible to receive a stipend to compete in the Folkstyle Girls Nationals in Oklahoma on March 27-29, 2009. Information on Nationals can be found here - follow this link...
