Greetings New Jersey Wrestling Community,

My name is Alex Almeyda.  It is an honor to serve as the USAW-NJ Coaches Council Chair.  The Coaches Council’s main focus will be to provide as much Professional Development to Coaches and Wrestlers alike.

New Jersey takes great pride in the sport of wrestling. New Jersey has a rich tradition of producing wrestling talent at the Kids, High School, NCAA, World, and Olympic levels. We need to keep working together in order to keep growing our sport in the Garden State.

We have the very best coaches in the nation right here in New Jersey. The Coaches Council will provide opportunities and resources available in order to enhance the skills and personal growth for Coaches and Wrestlers.

Let’s work together in the pursuit of wrestling excellence.

Thank you,

Alex Almeyda
