NATIONAL CHAMP Maura White controlled the sand against some of the best wrestlers in the Junior Girls Beach Wrestling 138 lbs. weight class, including a 2023 Freestyle All-American in the final. Maura has been selected to represent the US at the U20 World Beach Championships in Romania at 70 kg.

Team NJ Excels At Fargo In Olympic Styles!
A record number of wrestlers (7,134) competed at the 2023 edition of this event, making this the largest wrestling tournament in the world. The number or wrestlers competing this year were up in 5 of the 6 age groups over last year's numbers:
- 16U Women's Freestyle: 740 wrestlers, 222 more than last year
- 16U Men's Freestyle: 1,595 wrestlers, 159 more than last year
- 16U Men's Greco-Roman: 1,206 wrestlers, 162 more than last year
- Junior Women's Freestyle: 853 wrestlers, 91 less than last year
- Junior Men's Freestyle: 1,596 wrestlers, 33 more than last year
- Junior Men's Greco-Roman: 1,144 wrestlers, 3 more than last year
- Overall # of wrestlers: 7,134 wrestlers, 488 more than last year and up more than 2,000 wrestlers over 2018's numbers!
178 Team NJ wrestlers competed at the 2023 US Marines Corps Junior and 16U Nationals at the FargoDome in Fargo, ND (July 15 - 22) with 22 of them achieving ALL-AMERICAN status. Three Team NJ wrestlers also competed in the Fargo Summer Showcase & 16U/Junior Beach Nationals, crowning one National Champ and 3 other All-Americans. See the below documents for details!
