The competition began in 1991 with teams from MD, PA, NY and VA. NJ joined the quad in 1995 and through 2018, Team NJ has won the event eight times. The location for this great event is changing in 2019. The quad will now be held at the Severn School in Severna, MD. The event will be held on Sunday, January 6. Wrestle-offs for Team NJ will be held at 7:30 PM at Toms River HS East in Toms River, NJ on Tuesday, December 18. If you are interested in wrestling off for a spot, please contact either of these two team leaders via telephone prior to December 16, 2018:
Previously it was held annually (early January) at the McDonogh School's spacious field house in Owings Mills, MD. For the fourth year in a row, Team NJ took home the GOLD in 2018 as they beat teams from Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Congratulations to Team NJ!! The event has been held each year since 1991. Pennsylvania had their way in the tournament every year until New Jersey entered the competition (replacing New York) in 1996. Over the years Team NJ has done very well in this competition.
